5. Henry Murders His Father

After Henry is humiliated by his police officer father, he receives a switchblade from Pennywise, and upon returning to his home, finds a surreal children's TV show ordering him to kill his sleeping father.

In an extremely disturbing moment, Henry places the blade next to his dad's neck and flicks it open, instantly killing him, all while Pennywise appears on the TV and, with an audience of kids, urges Henry to "Kill them all!"

The final shot of the scene, zooming in on Pennywise's face as his grin grows ever larger, is not merely one of the film's most unsettling images, but one of the most deliciously scary things in any movie this year.
