11. The Pennywise Spider

When the sequel was announced, pretty much every fan was faced with the prospect of seeing the giant spider-crab creature that was such a divisive talking point for the ABC adaptation from the 1990 mini-series. Because that monstrosity was not great.

It's quite a bold move of the sequel not to change the source material and just give It a different final form, to be honest, because of those inevitable parallels, but it actually works a lot better than it probably should.

We get to see a grotesque, abominable mashup of Pennywise and the giant spider-crab, which stalks the Losers like the final boss of a video game. And it's impressive how not goofy it looks considering.
