Warner Bros.

One of the most important side characters in the first half of It and the novel is Betty Ripsom, the 14-year-old missing girl who is one of the only victims of It who gets named.

She actually turns up a couple of times in the movie too (or parts of her do). When the Losers' Club find Georgie's body in the sewers they also find Betty's sneaker and Patrick Hockstetter bumps into her as a zombie. Even more notably, when Bill and Richie are faced with the three doors marked Scary, Not Scary At All and Very Scary.

Cut in half, she's seen hanging from her hands, prompting Richie to ask where the f*ck her legs were. In the sequel, we get the answer. When Richie is faced with the same doors - with Eddie this time - he chooses Very Scary and find half a girl, merrily dancing towards them with no torso attached. THAT's where the f*ck Betty's legs were.
