For lovers of all things to do with sleazy cinema, two countries pop up as prime sleaze producers again and again - Italy and Japan. These countries have sleazy film genres native to their own land - for Japan, the pinku eiga and for Italy, the Giallo. And they have been producing sleaze epics for a number of decades now. I thought it would be fun to take five sleazy Italian films and five sleazy Japanese films and make a comparison of the two native film industries in a battle for the title of Sleaze Epic film producer.
