Ivan Drago joins forces with Rocky Balboa!

They fought each other in ROCKY IV but now Rocky Balboa and Ivan Drago are teaming up to take down a South American dictator, as a team of mercenaries that also includes Jason Statham and Jet Li. Sylvester Stallone revealed during an interview at the premiere of TRANSPORTER 3, that Dolph Lundgren had been cast in his upcoming writing/directing action ensemble THE EXPENDABLES. Stallone calls it a "home coming of tough guys" and is clearly his answer to being snubbed by Quentin Tarantino for his World War II epic INGLOURIOUS BASTERDS. He's doing the kind of kick-ass movie with the kind of action orientated stars that Tarantino originally said he was looking for when he mentioned BASTERDS would star the likes of Arnie, Bruce Willis and Jean Claude Van Damme. Great cast so far for Stallone and isn't this so much more exciting than seeing him wheel out ROCKY or RAMBO again?
