Jackie Chan is THE SPY NEXT DOOR

Playing a babysitter who must fight off secret agents!

Jackie Chan is not ready to give up on his Hollywood action comedies just yet, The Hollywood Reporter say he has just signed on to star in The Spy Next Door - a Relativity Media production for director Brian Levant. Levant is a veteran of family comedies, in fact he has never done anything else. His CV reads Beethoven, Jingle all the Way, The Flintstones, Problem Child 2, Snow Dogs and Are We There Yet?

In a project that sounds undoubteledy like it was written for Chan, the movie centers on him as a guy called in to baby-sit his neighbour's children but has to fight off secret agents who come to attack the home after one of the kids accidently downloads a secret Government code from the web The script was written by Jonathan Bernstein and Jim Greer (they came up with the story for Just My Luck) and should be Chan's next movie after his upcoming drama The Shinjuku Incident due out in Hong Kong next month
