In Police Story 2 Jackie Chan discovered that the quickest route from one side of the road to the other was via the rooftops of passing vehicles then through a huge window - for the first installment of the series he pulled off what is still one of the craziest, mental stunts of his career. It's a stunt which has gone down in the history of cinema as one of the greatest of all time, and deservedly so. Stuck on the top floor of a shopping mall looking down at the villains below, Jackie decides that the quickest way to the bottom isn't the escalators or elevators but the huge metal pole running down the centre, lit of like a Christmas tree with hundreds of lights. Naturally Jackie doesn't bother wearing any gloves, and after falling through the sheet of glass at the bottom he gets to his feet, picks up a shard and holds it to the bad guy's neck.
