8. Jumping From Rampart To Tree To Wall - Armour Of God
Switching from one side of the law in Police Story to the other side of the law in Armour of God, Chan traded his police badge for the life of a dashing treasure hunter, trotting around the globe in search of the titular armour. Broader on the laughs than some of his movies, it's a wonderfully comic yarn with action galore. The opening action scene alone - in which Jackie Chan steals a sword from a tribe of natives in an undisclosed location - is worth the price of the DVD, as Chan leaps and bounds from one rampart to another as hordes of enemies fling dozens of spears in his direction. One of the most impressive stunts, jumping from one wall to another via a particularly non-compliant tree, went horribly wrong, leaving Chan with a plate in the back of his head.
