James Bond: 10 Biggest Fashion Disasters

5. The Bright Yellow Ski Suit

Yes, it's an iconic classic, worn by Bond in one of the franchise's best ever moments. Stuntman Rick Sylvester skies off a snowy cliff into the abyss, only for his union jack parachute to open with the Bond fanfare playing. Back in 1977, when The Spy Who Loved Me first opened, audiences stood up and applauded. But really James, a bright yellow ski-suit? As a secret agent, looking out for Soviet opposition, you'd have thought bright yellow wouldn't be the obvious choice to keep a low profile. Perhaps he was trying to fool them that he was an American tourist. 007 has form in wearing surprisingly bright apparel at times. As well as some of his sport coats, Bond also wore an orange wet suit in Thunderball and then strapped a jet engine onto his back. One-off Bond George Lazenby, while on his hols and not rescuing troubled Countesses from the surf, tried a mustard casual suit. All of these, however, pale next to Roger Moore's eye-scorching number.
