The winning of an Academy Award is a multifaceted thing - it's a great achievement, obviously, but also ramps up great pressure to keep up the level of fame. One of Pierce Brosnan's Bond girls found herself under that very pressure during the filming of Die Another Day, when Halle Berry took home the Best Actress gong for Monster's Ball, making her the only Bond girl to be an incumbent Oscar winner at the same time. Fortunately, that pressure hasn't stopped her from tackling everything Hollywood has to offer. Following the win, and her performance in Die Another Day as Giacinta 'Jinx' Johnson, an NSA agent more than Bond's match, Berry continued to work solidly. She had a fair share of stinkers along the way (here's looking at you, Patience Philips), but she also brought great performances in Cloud Atlas as multiple time-crossed people, The Call as a trauma-suffering emergency calls operator, and in her current role in Amazon series Extant as an astronaut in a mission gone... weird. Regardless to say, she's more than excelled.
