James Bond: 7 Awesome Villains Clearly Too Good For Their Movie

1. Gert Frobe As Goldfinger - Goldfinger (1964)

Goldfinger

Goldfinger. You hear the name and you immediately think of James Bond 007. He is the quintessential Bond villain. And he set the bar for all to follow him. Even if you have never seen a James Bond film, you know Goldfinger. He is eccentric yet grounded. He lusts for gold like Bond lusts for woman. He plans a heist, that will take nothing. He is efficient. He is cold. Goldfinger will always be the villain that is tied to the 007 franchise. There will not be another like him. He is one of a kind. And everybody knows the legendary exchange between James Bond and Goldfinger: "Do you expect me to talk?" "No, Mr. Bond... I expect you to die!" Agree with this list? Disagree? "The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time." -Abraham Lincoln This probably is the best way to explain how I try to live my life. I have plans for the future, but try not to lose sight of the now. I enjoy writing for this reason I think. Another of my favorite quotes is: "There are no bad pictures; that's just how your face looks sometimes." -Abraham Lincoln The fact that someone as influential and important is so grounded is really cool to me.
