James Bond Theme Tunes: From Best To Worst

14. Thunderball

Artist: Tom JonesFilm: Thunderball http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xLYW2UgSJq8 Nobody loves Tom Jones more than I. He is my hero, my musical idol- so why isn€™t he higher up? Because as lovely as his voice is, this tune isn€™t up to much- partly because it just seems to be trying its best to copy Goldfinger, not carving itself out as something unique or special. So it€™s just a damn good imitation of a great song, and not great in its own right, despite being sung by one of the great voices of our time. Sorry, Sir Tom€

13. A View To A Kill

Artist: Duran DuranFilm: A View To A Kill http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fp4CR2HcHLQ I don€™t know why I like this tune, because I really don€™t Duran Duran (And I really don€™t like the film, but I promise I€™ll base my ranking on the song alone), but there€™s something exciting about it, and I do like the lyrics. People besides me do like this song, and it€™s out of a weird personal preference this is placed where it is in the rankings. It was also the last notable song the band performed before breaking up, so you get a sense they€™re giving it their all, and it does show.
