James Bond Theme Tunes: From Best To Worst

6. Let The Sky Fall

Artist: AdeleFilm: Skyfall http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7HKoqNJtMTQ A great throwback to the classic themes of old, with one of today€™s greatest voices giving us a tender, powerful yet subtle song. We don€™t yet know if the lyrics allude to any themes of plot points in the film because it hasn€™t been released yet. I€™m not going to get all excited and make give this the top spot because it€™s new and of a very high quality, rather it deserves the high ranking I have given it because it€™s refreshing and marvellous in its own right. It€™s about time Craig€™s Bond had an iconic theme like Connery had Goldfinger, Moore had Nobody Does It Better, Dalton had The Living Daylights and Brosnan had Goldeneye. And finally some Barry-esque horns! He would be very proud of this entry.

5. Goldeneye

Artist: Tina TurnerFilm: Goldeneye http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qGPBFvDz_HM Tina Turner has a great voice, there is no denying. This has all the ingredients of a great Bond song- rich vocals, dangerous, exciting, a horn section€. For once, I have to congratulate Bono for the sterling work he produced with Tina Turner, somewhat in restrained form here, which works all the better. The perfect introduction to a new Bond for a new generation, again drawing on what makes a Bond song so great.
