...And 5 That Sucked

5. Sue - Management

Though not an outright terrible performance from Aniston, there's just the distinct impression here that she doesn't really care, giving a phoned in turn that's not all that memorable. In Management, she plays Sue, who is staying at a motel for the weekend when she is pursued by the motel's creepy night manager, Mike (Steve Zahn).

Though Sue does have sex with him before leaving, this causes Mike to fall in love with her, and he spends the rest of the movie pursing her around her hometown, while she tries to make a life with her old boyfriend, Jango (Woody Harrelson).

The whole premise of the film is thoroughly misguided; it wants us to root for Mike, and though Zahn does well with the role, its unhinged nature doesn't exactly give it fertile ground to work as a romantic comedy.

As a result, when they get together at the end, the whole thing feels disingenuous, and Aniston is basically left treading water.
