Jigsaw: Every Trap Ranked From Worst To Best

5. Buckethead Trap

Jigsaw Bucket
Lionsgate

The movie's opening trap sees the five protagonists waking up chained to a wall, with Jigsaw warning them that they each need to shed some blood in order to survive.

At that moment, the chain begins shortening, pulling them towards some strategically-placed buzzsaws at the other end of the room.

One by one Anna, Ryan, Mitch and Carly manage to free themselves, but the unnamed fifth test subject wakes up too late and seemingly ends up with his head sliced in half.

Given the grisly potential, this is a surprisingly tame opening trap, lacking much in the way of fun or gross bloodshed, and the fact that the fifth person's death isn't shown on-screen made it instantly suspicious that this was going to play into the movie's big twist later (which it predictably did). It was also a little too similar to Saw V's Neck Tie trap.
