1. Pascal Savage - Johnny English
And yet nothing is as horrifically toxic to his own career as his woeful performance in Johnny English, playing French entrepreneur Pascal Sauvage (John Malkovich), who just so happens to be a descendant of William the Conqueror. It's likely that much of the budget - estimated to somehow have ballooned to $40 million - was spent on acquiring an actor of Malkovich's caliber for the relatively small-fry British production, but going by his horrendous contribution to an already terrible movie, you sure as Hell wouldn't know it. The actor affects a ridiculously over-the-top French accent that is at the same time incredibly distracting and yet not at all funny (only amusing in retrospect considering that the actor spent a decade living in the country). If you can stop yourself from cringing into a coma watching Malkovich try to be a hoighty-toighty Frenchman, then Johnny English is...still a terrible movie.
