5. Winston's Death

Ian McShane has been a terrific highlight of these movies so far, playing morally ambiguous Continental owner Winston, who does John one final good deed by giving him an hour's head-start on the assassins giving chase as Chapter Two winds to a close.

It seems dramatically appropriate that as the stakes get heightened even further for this bloody finale and someone has now been killed on Continental grounds, assassins may begin playing more fast and loose with house rules, and it wouldn't be surprising to see Winston killed by an enterprising mobster looking to climb the ladder of power.

It feels like the right thing to do, but Winston could just as easily remain that fascinating neutral cipher for the entirety of the series who never comes under fire. Wait and see.
