Jules Gill's 10 Greatest Films Of All Time

The Best Of The Best.

Hello everyone, resident egg Jules here, and I've been given a rather unusual task by my employers today. As while I'm often allowed to walk through the imaginary archives of video game, TV, movie and wrestling knowledge and pluck interesting facts and secrets from their records in order to write about, today I've been asked to answer a very difficult question indeed.

What are my top ten films OF ALL TIME?

It's something that's left me genuinely stunned, as after being a patron of the silver screen for so long, I've seen many a high and low in my time, so narrowing them down to just a scant ten was bloody hard work.

However after enough stress to make me grow hair only to lose it again, I have my list. So please enjoy what I consider to be the greatest films OF ALL TIME (from my perspective).

10. The Lion King

The Lion King will always hold a special place in my heart for being the first film that I ever remember being taken to see at the cinema. The memory is pretty vague other than one specific moment - that when the first note of that iconic opening song rang out across the space, even my ADHD ass sat down and shut the hell up.

To say that the following film was mesmerising is to do it a huge disservice, as there is so much to love about this piece. From the liquid-smooth animation, the hilarious characters, through to songs that are such juicy earworms that Timon and Pumbaa are salivating just thinking about them.

Plus, Jeremy Irons as Scar might well be one of the most perfect villain casting choices ever made. Leaving not a single bit of scenery unchewed, this is the ham that puts the meat on the bones of the entire experience. I love this film at every conceivable level.

Jules Gill hasn't written a bio just yet, but if they had... it would appear here.
