5. Better Off Facing Godzilla - The Lost World: Jurassic Park
The fantastic finale to The Lost World: Jurassic Park sees a ravenous T-rex going on a rampage through the city streets of San Diego; it's a tense, visually impressive tour de force of blockbuster movie-making showing Spielberg at the top of his game. Movie fans will find this sight more than familiar, particularly those fans of that other giant movie lizard with a tendency to go on a rampage in busy cities. The Lost World is clearly more than aware of this cinematic connection and gives a nod to the great Japanese movie monster; during the T-rex rampage a group of Japanese tourists can be seen running away shouting in Japanese, ""I left Japan to get away from this?!" - an obvious homage to Godzilla.
