Jurassic Park 4: 10 Ways To Make It A Success

8. Refer To The Lost Embryo Canister

A minor point really, but a niggling loose end in the Jurassic Park universe that needs tying up nonetheless. They've ignored it in the previous two films, which makes you wonder why the camera focused on it in such a suggestive way back in 1993. The scene of Dennis Nedry's death must have been identified and investigated, so it isn't unreasonable to believe that Lewis Dodgson and Biosyn know where he died and that he might have had the embryo canister on him when he did. It would be the ideal opportunity for them to get their hands on it. At the very least, it needs to be referred to - even if they just say that someone nearly got their hands on it. But, ideally, it should be a major part of the plot - like by having Biosyn get their hands on it, as they intended to in the original movie, and using it as the basis of their own ill-intended research and development.
