There have been dozens of rumours regarding the "evolution" of the dinosaurs, mainly as to how advanced they might have become over the space of time between films. We already know from
Jurassic Park III that they've become smarter and - as a result - better hunters. There was even talk a while back that certain species might've evolved to use weapons and guns. But you know what? Dinosaurs are freakin' amazing the way they are, in their natural form. We don't need to make them more intelligent or handy with a shotgun - all we want is for them
to be dinosaurs. You know, stomping about, roaring, trying to eat people. That's always been enough for a million 10-year-old boys and it's definitely enough for a generation of
Jurassic Park fans. That's why dinosaurs are so interesting in the first place. They're already huge, angry killing machines... and no amount of added I.Q. points is going to change that.
