2. Dinosaurs vs. The Army
Of all the qualms I have with JP3, its ending has to be the biggest; Laura Dern's Ellie ends up calling in the military to bail Dr. Grant out at the climax, and when the helicopters begin to roll towards Isla Sorna, I was excitedly rubbing my hands with delight, hoping we'd see an epic army vs. dinos finale. But no, the film promptly ends with Grant and co. being evacuated, and we get a limp, stale payoff. After underwhelming us so horribly in JP3, how about delivering on the goods this time? Given that one of the more plausible scenarios for a fourth film would be Grant and the others venturing back to the island with a sizeable military escort, why not go that route, and milk set-pieces where the military's awesome weaponry can be totally upstaged by a T-Rex's little toe? This would also allow the film to move towards one obvious end-game...
