Jurassic Park 4: 10 Ways To Save The Franchise

1. Bring The Series To An End

I imagine that the last thing on Universal Studios' minds is bringing the Jurassic Park franchise to an end. They are obviously hoping that a renewed interest in the property will allow them to more forward with a fifth and sixth film because, of course, everybody loves dinosaurs and things in threes, right? Well, in an ideal world, I think the fourth film would simply honour the legacy of the original and bring it full circle, both by returning to Isla Nublar, and then nuking the Hell out of it once and for all. Yep, you heard me. As soon as the military showed up at the end of JP3, that's what I thought was going to happen, and it's how the series should end, ensuring that no hack directors can try and pick things up along the line, while giving these wonderful characters and creations the send-off they deserve. The film should end with Grant and whoever else survives making it off the island, before the military bombs the island back to the stone age, once again rendering the dinosaurs extinct in a way that could visually mirror the meteorite that originally wiped them off the face of the Earth. It could be not only awesome to watch, but poetic in its own way. What are you hoping for in JP4? Let us know in the comments below.
