Jurassic Park 4: 5 Potential Results Of Hiring Colin Trevorrow

4. Not A Super Big Scale

800px-jurassic_park_screenshot_41 We all know that Jurassic Park IV will feature dinosaurs and plenty of action sequences. However, it may be more character driven or science focused film than the other sequels. With Trevorrow, you get someone who is used to filming many dialogue scenes, exposition, and character development on a low budget, indie scale. This could portend a film (like the first one) which spends potentially the first 30 to 45 minutes building and developing the world for the new movie. Also remember that screenwriters Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver wrote Rise of the Planet of the Apes €“ a pic that was excellent because it contained a wonderful story and action sequences. Jaffa and Silver spent most of the Apes film developing the characters and left the big action sequences for the latter portion of the project. I wouldn€™t be surprised if we see something similar to this.
