1. Unexpecting the Expected
We think we know what to expect from the next Jurassic Park movie. But, really, we don't know anything at all. The first film took place on the island (Isla Nublar), the second film brought the action to the states, and the third film went to a new island taken-over by wild dinos. So what the heck could possibly happen in Part IV? They might go to a new continent, they might go back in time (ugh, that actually sounds horrible), they might discover absolutely anything, and we'll never know--until our innocence is spoiled by set photos, spy videos, and plot rumors€ But if we can stay away from those things (HA!), there's a chance of us being taken by complete surprise by a franchise we know well and love. Unexpecting the expected is difficult, but it can make for a truly magical theatre-going experience. So, why, by default, can Jurassic Park 4 simply not be the best entry? Click "next" to find out...
