Jurassic Park Cast: Where Are They Now?

Having cut his teeth in some of the earlier (and best) Spike Lee joints, Samuel L Jackson signed on for his most commercial role to date with Jurassic Park, as the park's chief engineer Ray Arnold. The antithesis to Dennis Nedry, Arnold attempts to reverse the damage done by the saboteur programmer and reboot the security system. Unfortunately, the, umm, hands-on aspect of the rebooting process sees him venture into velociraptor country, and all that is ever seen of him again is a severed arm.

So where is Jackson now? Well, the better question would be, where isn't Sam Jackson now?

Since the film's release in 1993, he has featured in around 120 films, which have shot him to stardom and positioned him as a mainstay in the pop culture canon, thanks in no small part to frequent collaborations with Quentin Tarantino, one of the defining performances of the Star Wars prequels, and a residency as the Avengers' tactical leader Nick Fury.

Most recently, Jackson has been seen reprising his role as Darius Kincaid in the Hitman's Wife's Bodyguard, opposite Ryan Reynolds and Selma Hayek, as well as lending his unique vocal talents to Marvel's What If...? animation anthology series.

Unfortunately, much like Dennis Nedry, we are unlikely to see Ray Arnold make a return to the lost world.
