7. Ariana Richards (Lex Murphy)
One of the two young actors in Jurassic Park, Ariana Richards played teen hacker extraordinaire Lex Murphy, granddaughter of Richard Hammond and potential snack to a gang of voracious velociraptors. Initially a liability, Lex proceeds to prove her worth by 'hacking the mainframe', restoring power to the park and allowing the gang to call in a rescue chopper.
Richards starred in just two more films in the '90s before attending Skidmore College, graduating in 2001 with a degree in Fine Art and Drama, and continuing her education with the Art Center College of Design in California. Since then, she has largely kept to herself, focused on her art and shunned the acting life. That is, except for a one-off return to the screen in 2013, the TV werewolf movie Battledogs.
Other than this, Richards dipped into a music career, first with the release of her album First Love in 1993, then again briefly with a cover of David Foster's "The Prayer" in 2008.
Today, she continues to practice art and focus on her family, but who knows -- maybe we will see her return to the park again one day, depending on which direction 2022's Jurassic World: Dominion takes us.
