This failed spectacularly as, not long after landing, the Spinosaurus made its first appearance, with mercenary pilot Nash unwillingly crashing the plane after being forced to abruptly pull up, clipping the dinosaur's sail in the process. With the plane lodged in the trees, the Spinosaurus ripped away the nose of the plane, exposing the cabin and everyone inside. Despite his effort to get to the back of the plane, Nash was pulled out and thrown onto the ground, where he was promptly stepped upon and eaten before he could crawl to safety. It's an efficient death of an otherwise forgettable character, hammering home the irony that the two characters who had come most prepared to "survive" the island - the other of which is further down this list - were disposed of the quickest.
