Few films are as unashamedly nostalgic as Jurassic World. Every frame is dripping with love of Steven Spielberg's 1993 original; shots and set pieces are direct callbacks to the classic blockbuster and the backgrounds of the now-open dinosaur theme park are stuffed full of Easter eggs, making this more than just a cynical, corporate-mandated reboot of another once-popular franchise. It's this aspect, more so even than a lack of competition and the general public's rabid love of dinosaurs, that has turned it into one of the biggest films ever made. Audiences love a good old nostalgic hit, and Jurassic World is one of the purest highs cinema can provide (so much so it makes some of the film's more glaring flaws negligible). We've already taken a look at some of the coolest in-jokes from the film, but on top of all the clear homages and reused locations, there's a lot of more obscure references - to the original Jurassic Park, its sequels and beyond - hidden in Jurassic World that you may have missed. Here are ten of the coolest, along with an explanation of why they're so freaking awesome. Spoilers for the film are obviously present from the off, but if you haven't seen it by now, what's wrong with you?
