Jurassic World: 10 Reasons It's The Worst Movie In The Franchise

10. So Many Plot Holes

Considering director Colin Trevorrow's own admission that Jurassic World was written in a matter of weeks, it's no surprise that the film's screenplay feels rushed and ill thought-out. It's a film full of inspiration, but one that's also rife with logical blips and inconsistencies. There are many Jurassic World plot holes to explore in detail, but let's focus on just one of several for now. Late in the film, after the Raptors have been released (there's a plot hole in itself - the Indominus Rex already took out a herd of Brachiosaurs, what good are four relatively tiny dinos going to do to such a large creature?), the pack are confronted by the Indominus Rex. Ignore for a minute how quickly the Raptors forget that Chris Pratt's Owen, who's reared them from birth, is their alpha (though if you're counting, it actually takes them about 15 seconds to get over it), before turning on him and everyone else just because the Rex tells them to - how do the Raptors and the Indominus even manage to communicate? The I-Rex may be part Raptor, but it's been raised in isolation - how could it understand this pack's language, or even speak it in the first place?
