Jurassic World: 17 Easter Eggs, In-Jokes And References You Need To See

1. The Indominus Rex Name Is Major Foreshadowing

Claire reveals early on that the name of the new genetic hybrid was chosen for its easy pronunciation. As an idea that's fair enough - it may have seemed a bit odd at first, but Indominus Rex really rolls off the tongue. It's just a shame none of the scientists on Isla Nublar carried a Latin dictionary with them; Indominus Rex translates quite literally as Untamable King. What other Easter eggs and references are there hidden in Jurassic World? Share any we missed down in the comments.
