Jurassic World 2 Post-Credits Scene Explained
The Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom Post-Credits Scene
So, at the end of the movie, there is something like 20-30 dinosaurs left of all of the Ingen work after they're rescued from Isla Nubar and end up as part of a nefarious auction.
Ultimately, they end up escaping thanks to a series of frankly unbelievable events, including the casual revelation of full human cloning and are let loose on America as Ian Malcolm talks once more about the changing dynamic of the world. It will now be a "Jurassic World" (it's horribly cheesy, that) where humans and dinosaurs have to learn to live in peace. Or where the dinosaurs eat as many humans as possible and then die of old age, more appropriately.
The credits roll as we see the dinosaurs adjusting to their new environments - Blue heading towards a residential area, the Mosasaur swimming among surfers and pterodactyls flying (because there's nothing more this franchise loves than that bloody shot). And then we get to sit through a long credits sequence waiting to watch the reward.
It's not worth it, seriously.
The stinger sees two of the pterodactyls making it to Las Vegas where they land on the smaller replica of the Eiffel Tower and looked vaguely pleased with themselves. Or as pleased as dinosaurs could ever look.
It's rather unfortunate that they team those images with Malcolm's Flintstones-like assertion that there will have to be a dino-human utopia of mutual support and love, because the Flintsones movie sequel literally went to Las Vegas. Hence that Viva Rock Vegas nonsense earlier.
Still, at least you know now.
