3. Jurassic Park Franchise Could Use A Strong Female
The Jurassic Park films have had strong female characters before. Laura Dern and Julianne Moore have stopped by before and had some fun, however the films have always been anchored by men. Sam Neill and Jeff Goldblum have headlined the movies so far. They've been great since they are not typical "leading" men, but it would still be nice to see the franchise give itself over to a strong female lead. The Jurassic Park franchise presents normal people that have to tackle odds never before realized (literally). The roles present great opportunities to shine as actors and unique heroes. The men have had their fun and now it's time for the women to give it a go. Some men have been rumored for one of the leads in Jurassic World. Two of the rumored leads have been Josh Brolin and Chris Pratt, however let's hope whoever the male actor is that he plays second fiddle to Bryce Dallas Howard. She'd make a perfect strong female lead and the Jurassic Park franchise presents a great opportunity to throw out a female lead role in a giant franchise to compete with other large scale franchises that are more male oriented.
