Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom - 23 Easter Eggs & References Explained

12. Margaritaville

Jurassic World Jimmy Buffett
Universal

Whatever your opinion of Jurassic World, one of its best moments is the initial dinosaur assault on the park's visitors, especially the hilarious beat where some guy runs away with two margaritas in hand.

The Internet quickly dubbed him "Margaita guy", but the man was in fact Jimmy Buffett, the owner of the Margaritaville restaurant chain that's visible throughout the film.

When Owen, Claire and the rest of the expedition arrive back at the park's largely destroyed remains in Fallen Kingdom, we briefly focus on a destroyed Margaritaville sign, which for millions will immediately conjure up imagery of Buffett enthusiastically legging it with two giant drinks in tow.

Sure, it's craven product placement, but at least it's funny.
