21. Claire's Controversial Footwear

One of Jurassic World's most complained-about elements is the fact that Claire (Bryce Dallas Howard) spends the entire movie running around in high heels, even managing to outrun a T-Rex while wearing the impractical footwear. Even ignoring what it says about female characters in blockbuster movies, it's a monumentally stupid look.

This is amusingly adressed two-fold in Fallen Kingdom. The first time we see Claire, the camera pans up from her feet just as it did in the previous movie, and again, she's wearing heels.

However, once the action shifts to Isla Nublar, numerous shots linger on and draw attention to the fact that she's wearing decidedly more practical knee-high boots. And now the Internet can breathe a sigh of collective relief.
