1. What Is The Conspiracy Described In The Official Synopsis?
Along with the debut trailer, Universal released an official synopsis for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom which pretty much describes the events seen in the preview footage... apart for one detail...
"Arriving on the unstable island as lava begins raining down, their expedition uncovers a conspiracy that could return our entire planet to a perilous order not seen since prehistoric times."
There's plenty of lava raining down in the trailer, but no evidence of a conspiracy that could plunge the world back into a prehistoric state. What could this refer to?
Perhaps there's a shady organisation aiming to trigger a global extinction event that will see the dinosaurs return to the top of the food chain, but what would anyone have to gain from that?
One thing is for certain, there will be more going on in Fallen Kingdom than an exploding volcano and a rescue operation.
