1. The Effects

Though there are some who will tell you that the original Jurassic Park movie's effects still stand up without any caveats today, that doesn't mean that Universal have rested on their laurels in the SFX department.

Just as Jurassic World pushed the boat out, Fallen Kingdom delivers again with some truly astonishing effects that simply won't get the credit they deserve because they created their own impassable benchmark 25 years ago.

There's no sense at all that the dinosaurs aren't really in their environments and the decision to use practical puppets still proves just as smart as it did when Spielberg did it.
