Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom Review - 5 Ups & 7 Downs
2. The Score
You can't get moved in Hollywood these days for seeing something that Michael Giacchino has scored. He seems to be the premier name in movie music at the minute and on the strength of this work, you can see why.
His score is both organically married to the visuals in a way that means it doesn't insist and also full of its own personality that it can stand-out alone. It tells the story of the drama, the emotion and the thrills way better than the script does and it's full of aural reference points to the older Jurassic Park movies.
That's the only bonus to having to sit through the credits for the definitely not otherwise worth it post-credits scene.
