Justice League: 10 Crazy Zack Snyder Ideas For The DCEU We Could See In The Snyder Cut

9. Evil Superman

One of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice's more confusing moments came when an "evil" version of the Man of Steel used his soldiers to capture Batman, and then killed him with his heat vision.

What led to the hero's descent into madness? While he may have emerged from his time in the grave without his full senses - hence why he battled the rest of the League - that has nothing to do with why Superman ultimately falls under Darkseid's control. Instead, it's all to do with the Anti-Life Equation, the source of power that brings the villain to Earth in the first place.

The death of Lois Lane at the hands of Darkseid sees Kal-El succumb to that ancient force, making him the perfect soldier for the ruler of Apokalips as he tightens his grip on Earth. Zack Snyder clearly wants to explore an "evil" Superman, so expect those additional "Knightmare" sequences to reveal more about what led him down such a dark path.

That should be a lot of fun, though some Superman fans obviously aren't going to be happy with this!
