Ben Affleck was struggling with a lot of personal issues while playing Batman in the DC Extended Universe, and it's a role which clearly made the actor unhappy. The fact he's willing to don the cape and cowl again in The Flash is surprising enough, but Zack Snyder has now confirmed that he's suited up for Justice League's reshoots as well.

"I think he forgot how uncomfortable it is, but that's fine," the filmmaker joked, referring to Affleck wearing the Batsuit again. "He was incredibly gracious and again it's funny how they just [snaps fingers]. A couple of the costumes, y'know, have been in archives for a while. They were all over the place, in museums and stuff, and we had to tear 'em out of there."

"Y'know, I think one of the cowls was put on and just kind of like ripped in half." Snyder added that any changes he wanted to make to the looks of a given character were "seamless" and came together "really organically," so there clearly won't be too many drastic changes beyond Superman's suit (CGI will be used to make that black in this version of Justice League).

Common sense says Affleck primarily donned the Knightmare suit to shoot scenes with Jared Leto's Joker, but time will tell on that front.
