Justice League: 10 New Scenes Zack Snyder's Upcoming Reshoots Could Add

9. More Knightmare

Justice League Snyder Cut
Warner Bros.

One of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice's most intriguing, and confusing, moments came when Bruce Wayne dreamt of an apocalyptic future where the Man of Steel was evil, and he was leading a resistance group against soldiers decked out in the hero's shield.

Initially, it seemed like this was just a worst case scenario in Batman's head, but the sudden appearance of the Flash - who seemed to be travelling back in time to issue a warning - only further muddied the waters.

In "The Snyder Cut" of Justice League, Zack Snyder has the opportunity to deliver some answers and explain how Superman fell into the clutches of Darkseid. The Flash's cryptic message from the future could also be resolved, and all of this could tie into the final battle, with an explanation that stopping Steppenwolf - and Batman and Superman resolving their issues - would stop it coming to pass.

Considering the fact the Justice League sequel was supposed to take place in that Knightmare future, Snyder now has the opportunity to tackle that timeline in this four-part series.
