9. Is Lex Luthor In The Film Or What?
Like most things about Batman v Superman, Jesse Eisenberg's performance as Lex Luthor divided opinion, so it wasn't hugely surprising when widespread reports suggested he has been cut from Justice League.
His absence from any of the trailers adds credence to these rumours, but fresh evidence from an official source has cast serious doubt on them.
Eisenberg is listed clear as day among the Justice League cast on Warner Bros' UK website, nestled between Willem Dafoe and Jeremy Irons.
Reports of Luthor's omission gained traction in the wake of a test screening of the movie which did not include the villain, but scenes are typically added or removed for the cinematic cut based on audience reaction.
One thing is a given, though, Superman's nemesis will not have a substantial role even if they decide to restore the scenes that have apparently been cut. A possible post-credits scene to set up Man of Steel 2 will be about the extent of it.
