8. Why Does Aquaman Change His Mind About Joining Up?
When Batman is putting the titular superhero team together, it's clear The Flash is an eager participant, delighted at the prospect of having a purpose and some super friends, but the same cannot be said of Aquaman.
Bruce Wayne's initial attempt to recruit the Atlantean goes far from swimmingly and ends up with him pinned to a wall, which begs the question of why Arthur Curry has a change of heart.
Trailer footage clearly taken from later in the film shows Aquaman having an absolute blast as part of the team, but the specifics surrounding his U-turn on membership are murkier than the depths he dwells in.
Presumably this has something to do with the outcome of the underwater battle between the Atlanteans and Steppenwolf which the trailers show flashes of, but exactly how that will play out is anybody's guess.
Are the underwater folk defeated, forcing their leader to seek outside help from the world's greatest superheroes? Do they lose their Mother Box during the conflict? Based on the evidence in the trailers, fans can only speculate about the specifics behind Aquaman's motivation since a key puzzle piece or two is missing.
