8. TWO Green Lanterns Will Appear In The Film?
Green Lanterns is a founder member of the Justice League and one of DC Comics' best known characters outside of the holy trinity of Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman, so his apparent absence from the movie is conspicuous.
Even Steppenwolf seems to think so since he remarks that there are "no Lanterns" on Earth during the film's Comic-Con trailer.
But with a future Green Lantern Corps film on the horizon, Warner Bros has some emerald-coloured groundwork to lay, and reports suggest a member of the intergalactic police force will show up when the heroes unite on screen.
The latest rumours, however, indicate the fans could get two Lanterns for the price of one. Umberto Gonzalez of The Wrap recently claimed that two members of the Corps will appear in Justice League.
He remained tight-lipped about their identities, leaving fans to speculate whether Hal Jordan, Kyle Rayner, John Stewart or Guy Gardner - all of whom are expected to feature in Green Lantern Corps - will get the nod.
Take this rumour with a grain of salt, mind, as Gonzalez reckons there's a possibility at least one of the Lanterns could be cut from the movie before it hits cinemas.
