The Rumour: Several months ago, word circulated that Jesse Eisenberg's Lex Luthor had been cut entirely from Justice League, presumably in order to keep the runtime at a square two hours, and perhaps also due to the polarising audience response to his portrayal in Batman v Superman.

The Truth: While Luthor doesn't appear in the main movie, he does show up for about 30 seconds in Justice League's post-credits scene, escaping prison and appearing on a boat where he meets up with Deathstroke to discuss the formation of an anti-Justice League.

It hasn't yet emerged whether or not this scene was added back into the film last-minute or was perhaps even an additional reshoot late in production, but yes, Luthor is in the movie, no matter how briefly.
