Justice League: 10 Ways Joker Could Factor Into The Snyder Cut

9. Batman Vs. The Joker In Gotham City's "Knightmare" Future

As mentioned, the DC FanDome teaser for Justice League showed one of The Joker's playing cards floating through the wreckage of the Hall of Justice. In Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, the Caped Crusader had one of those attached to his gun, but are they one and the same?

There must be a reason Batman was holding on to it like some sort of trophy, so another visit to that timeline could reveal what happened the day the Justice League fell to Darkseid's forces. The Joker aligning himself with Darkseid honestly makes perfect sense, especially if it means he can bring the Dark Knight's world crashing down around him.

Perhaps it was seeing some of his fellow heroes die that finally pushed Batman over the edge? While his comic book counterpart has always resisted killing The Joker, it wouldn't be surprising for this version of the character to head down such a dark route.

Batman striking down his greatest foe and taking one of his playing cards as a trophy would be a shocking way to kick things off, and a real talking point among fans.
