Justice League: 10 Ways Joker Could Factor Into The Snyder Cut

Yes, Jared Leto's Clown Prince of Crime is indeed returning in Zack Snyder's Justice League...

Warner Bros.

When it was revealed Warner Bros. had decided to #ReleaseTheSnyderCut of Justice League, the anticipation was that Zack Snyder would finish off the visual effects, do some editing work, and then let the world see his four-hour version of the DC Comics movie.

The version which was released in cinemas back in 2017 was mostly reshot by Joss Whedon, but Snyder is now hard at work on his own $70 million reshoots which are adding new scenes and characters to the "Snyder Cut." Right now, Ben Affleck (Batman), Amber Heard (Mera), and Ray Fisher (Cyborg) are all on set, while the news broke last night that Jared Leto will join them as The Joker.

The actor first played the Clown Prince of Crime in 2016's Suicide Squad where he made a lucky escape from the Dark Knight, but most of his work ended up on the cutting room floor. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice teased a history between the characters, though, while the DC FanDome trailer hinted at The Joker's presence in that "Knightmare" future.

The question is, how can The Joker factor into Zack Snyder's Justice League? These are the most exciting, intriguing - and crazy - possibilities for the iconic villain in this corner of the DC Extended Universe...
