Justice League: 10 Ways Joker Could Factor Into The Snyder Cut

7. A Long Awaited Rematch

In Joss Whedon's Justice League, the movie kicked off with Batman investigating the sudden appearance of the Parademons on Earth. It all felt a bit rushed, and the filmmaker's goofy take on the Caped Crusader and Gotham City felt like a very strange tonal shift after Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

With Zack Snyder now taking charge of reshoots of his own, Justice League could get a completely new opening sequence, this time with the Dark Knight hunting down The Joker.

There are any number of ways that could tie into the wider story from a narrative standpoint - perhaps the villain is planning on robbing Superman's grave or something equally nefarious? - and fans would just be appreciative of Ben Affleck's Batman and Jared Leto's Joker sharing the screen.

This could even tie into the villain's escape in Suicide Squad, and it would be no bad thing for Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn to make a cameo appearance at this point (especially if it drives more fans to Birds of Prey, a movie also available on HBO Max).
