Justice League: 11 Final Concerns

10. It'll Be Too Quip-Heavy For Its Own Good

Ever since the first Comic-Con teaser trailer dropped for the film last year, some fans became worried that in an attempt to appeal to a broader audience and shake off claims the DCEU is too serious, Justice League will rely too heavily on comical quips to the point that it detracts from any sense of threat or drama.

Concerns about The Flash in particular making the film too funny for its own good were only boosted when Joss Whedon joined the production earlier this year for reshoots, which reportedly lightened Cyborg's character among other things.

While adding a little comedy compared to the overly severe tone of Batman v Superman is no bad thing, it's important to ensure that a balance is maintained or audiences will struggle to actually care.
