Justice League: 11 Final Concerns

9. Another Fully CGI Villain

The marketing so far suggests that Zack Snyder hasn't learned much from one of Batman v Superman's biggest issues, that the final antagonist was a dull, badly-rendered CGI mess.

Steppenwolf looks to be another Doomsday, an unconvincing digital creation that just can't measure up to the purity of having an actual, tangible actor for the League to face off against.

This seems to be backed up by the early social media impressions, which have commonly criticised Steppenwolf as the film's low-point, not only in terms of his visual presence but also his overt simplicity.

Basically, keep your fingers crossed that the central hero dynamic is charming enough to compensate for another forgettable, visually garish comic book villain.
